Thermage Toronto Safety Record

Since its introduction to the market the Thermage procedure has had an excellent safety record. In fact with nearly 100,000 Thermage treatments performed worldwide, only less than one percent have reported adverse side effects following Thermage treatment. The majority of these have been incidents of swelling, bumpiness, and redness in treated areas lasting for only a short while after the treatment. It should be noted that these minor side effects of Thermage have been dramatically reduced with the use of the new Thermage treatment tip. Only a small fraction of reported incidents following Thermage procedure have been longer lasting and more serious side effect of skin depressions or irregularities. The possibility of this side effect is significantly reduced when performed in the presence of experienced dermatologists.
