Unprotected sun exposure may lead to skin cancer, and also causes aging of the skin which results in wrinkling, brown spots and spider veins.
Limit sun exposure from 10 am to 4 pm, seek shade, wear broad-brimmed hats, protective clothing and sunglasses. Avoid tanning salons which cause skin damage.
Avoid UV reflection off pavement, sand and water. Apply sunscreen SPF 30 or higher.
